'Breathtaking' – These fans react to incredible clip from West Brom win v Hull

West Brom stayed top of the league with a 1-0 win over Hull City on Saturday.

Former Hull player Jake Livermore scored the only goal of the game in the 28th minute, rifling a shot into the right of the net from about 25 yards out.

He didn’t celebrate out of respect for the club where he spent three-and-a-half years, but he would have been jumping for joy inside.

That wasn’t the best moment of the game for a lot of fans, though.

The Baggies Bible posted a clip that shows exactly the sort of football that West Brom are playing this season under Slaven Bilic.

We counted 14 crisp passes, six of them first time, which left the Hull City players bamboozled. Only a poor final pass stopped what could have been a contender for goal of the season.

The win keeps West Brom two points ahead of Leeds, who also won on Saturday, and are likely to be our closest rivals for the title come the end of the season.

There are some selection problems for the next game, with goal-scorer Livermore and Romaine Sawyers suspended against Sheffield Wednesday.

But that’s for another day. With the international break ahead of us, settle back and watch the clip above and take in the total football – it shows just how far we’ve come since the Tony Pulis days.

Here are the best reactions from thrilled Baggies fans…
