West Brom fans have taken to Twitter to urge their side to sign Liverpool forward Rhian Brewster on loan.
The youngster is being heavily touted for an exit from Anfield this summer, with the Daily Mail suggesting that some 10 clubs are pursuing his signature.
The Baggies are understood to be in among the chasing pack, with a couple of options on the table in terms of how a deal could be tied up.
A loan move seems the most likely option for the England youth international, but it is understood that the Reds could be open to the prospect of a permanent deal, provided his £20 million valuation is met and a number of clauses and add-ons are included in the deal.
Albion simply don’t have that kind of money to spend in the latter stages of the transfer window, but a loan could still be a viable option.
The only caveat to consider is that Liverpool could include a clause stating that any club who sign Brewster will incur a penalty if he doesn’t play a certain amount of minutes on a regular basis.
But even then, that shouldn’t be too much of an issue.
West Brom are crying out for a striker, and it’s hard to see Charlie Austin or Hal Robson-Kanu keeping him out of the starting XI completely.
The starlet is yet to make his mark on the Premier League, but he certainly made an impression on the Championship last term, hitting 10 goals in 20 outings for during a loan spell with Swansea City.
All in all, if we could pull this one off, we think it would be a major coup for the Baggies – and certainly a gamble worth taking.

I really rate Brewster. I think he’s the real deal but he won’t break into that Liverpool first xl. He’s strong and definitely knows where the net is. He’s a better option then Karlan Grant in my opinion. Maybe get Wilshere in too if West Ham release him. Pay him 40 grand a week

I know clubs would want their players to go out and play but, if he isn't performing and he dropped the club gets penalised by Liverpool?
