Callum Robinson's latest goal for the Republic of Ireland suggests West Brom are about to see the best of him

West Brom forward Callum Robinson’s latest goal for the Republic of Ireland suggests that he is close to getting back to top form.

The 26-year-old scored a fantastic effort against Azerbaijan for his country in a game that ended 3-0 to the Republic of Ireland.

Robinson not only scored twice but was a livewire all evening and could have ended up with more goals [OTB Sports].

However, if he is striking the ball that well, then we think that he isn’t far off from returning to his best form in front of goal [Luke Hatfield].

The former Sheffield United forward started the season with three goals in his first three games for the Baggies, but he hasn’t scored in his last seven league appearances.

However, he has been contributing to goals in other ways and has provided two assists in those seven matches.

Despite this, though, we know that Robinson can and should score more goals under Valerien Ismael.

This latest finish for the Republic of Ireland shows exactly what he can do on a regular basis at The Hawthorns, and we hope to see more of that over the coming fixtures.

Robinson has been described as “wonderful” by Don Goodman, and it is now time for him to take on the responsibility and lead the Baggies’ front line and start rattling in some more goals [Sky Sports 06/08/2021].

He is clearly capable, and this latest finish was superb, and we hope to see more of this sort of finishing for his club after the international break.
