View: West Brom should swoop with Derby ready to accept offer for Louie Sibley

West Brom are one of the clubs interested in Derby County midfielder Louie Sibley, and recent development could hand them a boost.

Football League World reported last month that the 20-year-old, alongside Max Bird and Jack Stretton, are all wanted by Albion in the January transfer window, and it appears the Rams are now ready to sell him before the end of the January transfer window.

According to Sportsmail, Derby have told the players that offers would now be considered for them, and Sibley will now almost certainly be the subject of renewed offers.

The cash-strapped club need funds desperately to survive the season, and West Brom should be looking to raid them immediately for the midfield sensation and other players.

Valerien Ismael needs all the help he can get in a bid to help the club secure Premier League promotion, but there is not a lot of cash lying around.

However, bargains could now be available at Pride Park, and they need to be looking at taking advantage of the situation.

Sibley has featured in 16 games across all competitions this season, scoring once, and while his tally of four goals and two assists in 55 Championship games for the Rams is not particularly mind-blowing, he has what it takes to become a superstar going forward.

Snapping him up right now will save West Brom millions in the department in seasons to come, and they should not hesitate to move as there would be a lot of suitors on the queue for his signature.
