West Brom confirmed starting XI for Championship clash v Coventry
West Brom have confirmed their starting XI for the Championship clash against Coventry this afternoon [April 23] at the Hawthorns.
Steve Bruce will be looking to end the season as positively as possible with Albion sitting six points adrift from the playoff places in 12th.
Confirmed on Twitter prior to kick-off, Bruce decided to back Taylor Gardner-Hickman among three Baggies changes.
Embarrassment.
These West Brom players โ and Bruce โ are playing for their futures at the club.
This season has been a disgrace and with a rebuild highly mooted for next season, a lot of these players could be under threat.
It would be quicker to name the players that deserve to stay at Albion rather than those that should leave because all season long the performances levels have been well below par from most of the squad.
Todayโs game is a great opportunity to lower the embarrassment that these players are facing as they sit in 12th.

A win against Coventry would see the Baggies go above them in the table with the potential to go as high as tenth should other results go their way.
After that, two games remain and ending the season on a high is crucial for the fans who have lost hope. It doesnโt change a thing that has happened but it will help the mood around the club going into next season.
A playoff fightback is seemingly impossible now but these players need to put on a show for the fans who have given up hope and restore their pride ahead of what needs to be a huge season next year.
