Grady Diangana sends four-word message to Taylor Gardner-Hickman after West Brom exit
West Brom star Grady Diangana has sent a four-word message to Taylor Gardner-Hickman after his exit from The Hawthorns.
As per the official Albion website (15 January), the latter has completed a permanent transfer to fellow Championship club Bristol City, with Andi Weimann coming the other way.
The 22-year-old has been on loan at Ashton Gate since August, having made a total of 60 appearances for the Baggies.

“Such a proud moment signing for this great club, Bristol City,” Gardner-Hickman wrote on Instagram: “Thank you so much to everyone at Bristol City for making me feel so welcome, and thank you to you City fans who have been amazing since I joined. Excited for this next chapter.”
Among those commenting on the post was Gardner-Hickman’s former West Brom teammate Diangana, who wrote: “All the best brother.”

Farewell
It would have been an emotional farewell from Gardner-Hickman given how long he spent at The Hawthorns, with the player making his first-team debut back in August 2021.
He will, however, be more than ready for this next chapter in his promising career, with the player currently a regular for the Robins.
The 22-year-old is clearly highly thought of at Ashton Gate and now has the chance to become a firm favourite at the club for many years to come.
That was seemingly not possible at West Brom, with manager Carlos Corberan clearly favouring other players at The Hawthorns.
Gardner-Hickman was, however, a reliable option for the Spaniard when called upon, with his versatility on show for all to see.
His exit should force the likes of Okay Yokuslu, Alex Mowatt and Nathaniel Chalobah to step up in midfield as the Baggies chase promotion to the Premier League in the coming months.
