West Brom told to send Diangana to Cardiff as fury erupts over news – ‘Get rid’

West Brom fans have slammed Grady Diangana for his absence from the West Brom squad against Watford.

The 26-year-old was missing from the Baggies team sheet for the eventual loss at Vicarage Road on Sunday (15 December).

Lewis Cox has now reported (18 December) that the winger “didn’t feel right before” the clash against Tom Cleverley’s side “despite optimism earlier in the week”.

It is safe to say that this hasn’t gone down well with supporters at The Hawthorns who have questioned his commitment to the Albion.

West Brom fans rage after Grady Diangana absence v Watford

The former West Ham man hasn’t played since the early November win away against Hull City, missing six games through injury.

It has been a blow to be without the DR Congo international but it appears that the Baggies supporters have ran out of patience.

DOOD suggested that the attacking midfielder is “eyeing a move up” which would explain why he missed the clash so close to the January transfer window.

Another suggested that Diangana is “a complete waste of squad space and is on big wages” and urged Carlos Corberan’s side to “get rid”.

One fan believes that the once highly rated Hammers youngster has “clearly downed tools” at The Hawthorns and believes the Baggies should “loan him out in January on a subsidised wage”.

The forward has also been described as “a financial drain”, given that he moved to B71 for £18million [BBC Sport], it is safe to say he hasn’t lived up to expectations.

In a potentially tongue-in-cheek response to the news, one supporter asked: “Cardiff on loan?”

Given how well a spell in the Welsh capital went for both Karlan Grant and Cedric Kipre, this may not be the worst option for Corberan.

If the ex-England Under-21 international doesn’t want to play in the West Midlands, it is clear what The Hawthorns faithful think about his future at the club.

In other West Brom news, Carlos Corberan needs to axe one player who is costing him promotion.
