Luke Williams committed his future to Swansea City amid news he was never under consideration at West Brom, according to Wales Online.
The Welsh news outlet reported on Friday (3 January) that Williams held crunch talks with chairman Andy Coleman to commit to his future, and there is a growing belief that he will remain with the Swans.
Williams was believed to be a leading candidate to succeed Carlos Corberan, but Express & Star reporter Lewis Cox poured cold water on the rumours (2 January), confirming he is not in the managerial frame at The Hawthorns.

West Brom will lock horns against Williams amid the intense speculation when they travel to face Swansea in the Championship on Saturday (4 January).
The clash promised to deliver a hostile atmosphere in South Wales, with the Swans boss refusing to refute point-blank the claims he would be willing to leave for the West Midlands.
However, Chris Brunt kickstarted his rein as interim boss in the 3-1 win against Preston North End on Wednesday (1 January) to move the Baggies back into playoff contention.
Shilen Patel is content to take his time to appoint an appropriate Corberan replacement after the result, with the Albion chairman happy for Brunt to lead the side in the meantime [DOOD].
