West Brom would accept a late £20 million offer for Tom Fellows amid interest from Everton, according to DOOD.

The Baggies insider claimed (3 February) that the club does not want to lose the 21-year-old but would struggle to reject an offer in excess of that figure.

That report was later dismissed but it remains to be seen whether Fellows is still at the Black Country club come to 11 pm deadline.

Losing Fellows would be devastating blow for West Brom

The rumoured £20m fee would be a massive fee, especially considering the Baggies problems with Profit and Sustainability regulations after the disasterous ownership of Guochuan Lai.

However, it would be a devastating blow if Albion had two homegrown stars leave on the same day with Alex Palmer set to join Ipswich. [Lewis Cox]

Fellows has emerged as a key player for the West Midlands outfit this campaign notching two goals and ten assists in 30 Championship matches and there would be little time to find a replacement.

Losing Fellows and Palmer could negatively impact Tony Mowbray's side in their promotion push with a playoff berth a very realistic possibility.

The Baggies are currently seventh in the Championship table as it stands with Middlesbrough drawing 1-1 with Sunderland.

Ultimately, the financial health of the club must come first, so some uncomfortable moves may have to be made to benefit the club in the long term.
