West Brom fans distraught at ‘absolutely seismic’ injury news – ‘Huge loss’
Tony Mowbray provided fresh injury updates ahead of West Brom’s trip to Norwich on Saturday.
The Baggies are sitting sixth in the Championship table with 57 points in 38 games and are in a close battle with Coventry City, Bristol City and Middlesbrough for Championship play-off spots.
With just eight games to go, Mowbray would ideally want his full-strength side but injuries to key players have been a concern for the 61-year-old.
Players like Semi Ajayi, Josh Maja and Jed Wallace have been out of action with Mowbray now delivering another blow regarding Maja before the Norwich clash.

Josh Maja out until potential play-off matches?
The former Blackburn boss delivered the disappointing news that Maja will be unavailable for selection until the potential play-off matches, denting West Brom’s hopes.
The 26-year-old was a regular starter for the Baggies and a key cog for Mowbray as he delivered 12 goals in 26 Championship games until he picked up a calf injury in mid-January.

Should West Brom make it to the play-offs, Maja will be available for selection but until then the Championship side will have to make do without him.
West Brom fans were left shocked with the news of Maja being unavailable until the play-offs, with many considering the Nigerian a vital part of the team in the final few games of the season.
One fan reacted on X: “I don’t think there’s a more influential player in our squad. Not only is Maja an outstanding player himself, he brings the best out of others who’ve struggled without him. Gutted we won’t see much of him & Arma together.”
Adam Armstrong must deliver for West Brom
With Maja not set to return until the play-offs, Southampton loanee Adam Armstrong must deliver for the Baggies. Since joining on loan in January, Armstrong has netted two goals in eight Championship starts.
While the Englishman remains a solid option, he has also been criticised for his conversion rate and pushed to do better in front of the goal.
If Armstrong doesn’t deliver, he could lose his starting spot as Daryl Dike has recovered from a long-term injury and could soon be seen starting games for the Baggies.
West Brom are in a tussle for the final two Championship play-off spots and any mistakes could cost them dearly because of how close is the race. With just two points separating Coventry, West Brom and Bristol, any points dropped will affect the team’s chances of making it through.
