West Brom midfielder sends two-word message as Aston Villa reach contract agreement
Antonio Perkins sent a message to Keilan Quinn after the midfielder signed a new contract with Aston Villa.
Villa agreed to sign Quinn from West Brom in 2024, with the West Midlands rivals agreeing on a fee worth around £1million.
The 18-year-old is among several young players to have made the switch between the clubs, with the move being a well-trodden path over the years.
West Brom signed Samuel Iling-Junior on loan from Villa in the summer, with the winger enjoying ups and downs over the course of his time at The Hawthorns so far.
Iling-Junior scored a stunning goal against Leicester City in September, but has failed to recreate the moment since.

Antonio Perkins loves Keilan Quinn news
Quinn, a central midfielder, has featured in the Under-18 Premier League for Villa this season, making three appearances.
The 18-year-old is also a youth international for Ireland, and has featured in the qualifiers for the U19 European Championship.

| Assists | 1 | 4 |
Perkins, 17, spent time with the midfielder at West Brom, and has been deployed regularly for the Baggies’ U18s this season.
Naturally a midfielder, the Cyprus youth international has largely featured in defence, playing on the right or in the centre.
Perkins is highly thought of at The Hawthorns, and will hope to make his debut for the U21s at some stage this season.
Following confirmation of his new contract at Villa, former Baggie Quinn took to social media to write: “Delighted to have signed a new contract with Aston Villa”.
Perkins responded to the post, writing “nice bro” with the message accompanied by a heart emoji.
Ryan Mason may be forced to turn to youth in crisis
Ryan Mason is in serious danger of the sack, with West Brom winning just one from their last six games in the Championship.
The Baggies play Birmingham City at The Hawthorns on Wednesday, with the Englishman’s job security surely on the line.
With his current crop of options clearly not performing to the standard required, it would not be a surprise to see Mason attempt to throw a younger option into the line-up.
As several managers close to the sack elsewhere have learned, it can sometimes be the academy products most capable of pulling the club out of the trickiest of situations.
