West Brom and Southampton fans can’t believe what they’ve seen written about Tom Fellows
Tom Fellows left West Brom to join Southampton last summer but both sets of supporters have been left baffled by the latest claim about the winger.
Fellows came through the Baggies academy, really breaking into the first team during the 2023-24 season.
However, after two seasons of regular Championship football for Albion, the 22-year-old completed a £10million switch to Southampton.
He hasn’t quite hit the heights expected at the start of the season during his time on the south coast, but West Brom supporters are hardly happy about the situation.

Tom Fellows claim leaves fans confused
So far this season, Fellows has made 26 appearances for Southampton in the Championship, picking up four assists.
The Saints have had a difficult campaign, currently sitting 10th in the table and outside of the playoffs, and the Englishman has often been utilised at wing-back.
An article on Fellows by Football League World has sparked debate though, after the site claimed that West Brom fans were laughing at the transfer.
While Fellows hasn’t been at his absolute best since the move, Baggies fans have pointed out that they have been much worse out without him themselves.
West Brom failed to bring in a proper replacement for the winger before the end of the summer window, and currently sit 21st in the Championship table.

West Brom far from happy with Tom Fellows sale
West Brom fans strongly disagree with the sentiment of the article and are clearly not laughing at Southampton, given their current league position.
One Albion fan added that Fellows has been a big miss for the Midlands outfit, and his departure is one of the reasons for the club’s downfall.
Another Baggies supporter added that Southampton seem to be happy with Fellows, considering the difficult circumstances he’s faced this season.
It is clearly a view shared by the majority of the Southampton fanbase, with one Saints supporter saying that Fellows is a brilliant player and has been dearly missed at The Hawthorns.
While Fellows has perhaps not kicked on to that degree that many expected, he still has the support and backing of Saints fans.
On the other side, West Brom supporters are acutely aware of the damage his departure has done to their squad.
