Reliable journalist shares when Okay Yokuslu could make West Brom debut

West Brom have announced the loan signing of Celta Vigo midfielder Okay Yokuslu on deadline day this afternoon.

The Turkish international is set to strengthen Sam Allardyce's midfield, with one of his two expected deals confirmed.

Yokuslu is yet to arrive at the club though, and will not be able to make his Premier League debut against Sheffield United on Tuesday.

Express and Star journalist Joseph Masi has shared on his personal Twitter account that Yokuslu will arrive at the end of this week, and could be available at the weekend.

"Albion have signed Celta Vigo midfielder Okay Yokuşlu on loan until the end of the season," he wrote.

"I understand Yokuşlu will arrive later this week and should be available for the Spurs game."

We were hoping that Yokuslu could have been available at Bramall Lane, but it appears as though his deal was sealed away from The Hawthorns.

Allardyce will be delighted to add some steel to his midfield, and there aren't many bigger tasks than travelling to Spurs for your debut at your new club.

Romaine Sawyers and Jake Livermore have been nothing short of shocking in the Premier League, and they have offered zero help to the defence.

The 26-year-old is known for his tough tackling and no-nonsense style and will be determined to kickstart his career again after only starting three games in La Liga this season.

Allardyce needs his players to stand up and be counted, and with both Yokuslu and Snodgrass added to the squad, we should start to see a real change between now and the end of the season.
