Chris Lepkowski has slammed the West Brom defenders for their 'awful' display that allowed Nahki Wells to score for Bristol City.

Wells' goal gave the hosts an early lead before the Baggies equalised in the second half through Karlan Grant.

Andreas Weimann's 85th-minute strike seemed to be the winner for Bristol but Adam Reach scored a last gasp equaliser to secure a point for Steve Bruce's side.

Lepkowski was unhappy with the defending for Wells' goal and in no uncertain terms, called out the defenders for it.

Via his personal Twitter account, he wrote, "Bloody Wells will still be scoring against us in 2050. Awful defending."

Shambolic

These are games that the Baggies must be winning, at all costs.

If they are serious about making the top six, they cannot afford to be dropping points like this.

Bruce's had a few games going his way, but apart from that, he's still not managing to bring out a level of consistency from these players.

West Brom

He's known to be a defensive coach but he's unable to properly coach a defence.

It has got to the point where the Baggies fans are doubting whether they can actually fight for promotion.

Given how the team is playing currently, that does not seem like happening any time soon.
