Diagne starts, Gibbs dropped - Confirmed West Brom team news V Sheffield United
Sam Allardyce has named the West Brom team that will look to pick up a crucial win against Sheffield United on Tuesday night.
Mbaye Diagne is handed his first start after making his debut against Fulham at the weekend and picking up an assist on his first Albion outing.
The team was announced on West Brom's Twitter account before the game as fans looked to see if Big Sam would make any changes.
Sam Johnstone retains his place in goal and he is covered by a defence of Dara O'Shea, Kyle Bartley, Semi Ajayi and Conor Townsend.
Matty Phillips and Jake Livermore are expected to act as holding midfielders with Big Sam pushing more men forward.
Matheus Pereira sits at number 10 with Robert Snodgrass and Callum Robinson flanking him as all three fall behind Diagne.
There is no overstating how important this game is for West Brom.
Chris Wilder's side have been comfortably the worst team in the Premier League this season and a loss tonight would be the biggest dent yet to our survival hopes.
The Blades have improved recently as well with two very good performances against the Manchester clubs.
They won at Old Trafford in impressive style before almost snatching a draw very late on against the league leaders.
Make no mistake, we are up against it tonight.
But these are the games we need to win and nothing but a three-point haul is acceptable this evening.
All of our games from here on in are big but this one feels huge.
Come on Albion!
