It was a frustrating night for West Brom fans at The Hawthorns on Tuesday as they watched their side come from two goals behind to snatch a 2-2 draw against bottom-of-the-table Barnsley.
For some fans on Twitter, Charlie Austin was the focus of their frustration as the 30-year-old failed to have much of an impact in 90 minutes against the managerless Yorkshire club.
According to stats by WhoScored, Austin failed to fire a shot on target, failed to complete a key pass and failed to complete a single aerial duel.
Since joining the Baggies from Southampton in the summer, Austin has scored just two goals in 10 appearances across all competitions and supporters now have clear concerns over the lack of goals from Slaven Bilic’s strikers.
Kenneth Zohore also has two goals to his name – although both of them came from the penalty spot back in August – and Hal Robson-Kanu only opened his account for the season last week in the 1-0 win against Middlesbrough.
It seems like it is not only Austin’s ability to get on the scoresheet that is concerning West Brom fans though, with his overall play a concern to a section of them on Twitter.
Here is a selection of some of their tweets:

Not good enough and it’s not fitness. His movement is glacial and touch is really poor. Need an upgrade in Jan. #wba
