Kyle Bartley was in terrific form for West Brom on Monday night as Slaven Bilic's side returned to the top of the Championship standings with a 2-0 win away against Stoke City.

A section of supporters on Twitter were blown away by the centre-back's performance as Albion kept their third clean sheet of the season on their way to victory in the Potteries.

Bartley, 28, was at the heart of a solid defensive display with stats by WhoScored showing that the ex-Swansea man won an incredible 11 aerial duels - no player on the pitch managed more - and also made two tackles and three clearances.

Ahmed Hegazi can only sit on the bench and watch Bartley at the moment even though the Egypt international was widely expected to replace the 2018 signing in the starting line-up as soon as he returned from injury.

However Bartley's form has been impressive and these West Brom fans on Twitter were full of praise for the defender after the match.

Here is a selection of their tweets:

Albion's next Championship fixture is against in-form Hull City at the KCOM Stadium on Saturday.
