West Brom fans cannot get enough of Kyle Bartley's form at the moment and have taken to Twitter in their hordes to heap praise on the centre-back.

Bartley, 28, failed to help Albion keep a clean sheet in their 2-1 win against Sheffield Wednesday at The Hawthorns on Saturday but the Owls could have easily scored more than once if the ex-Swansea man was not in such imperious form.

According to stats by WhoScored, Bartley won eight aerial duels - more than any other player on the pitch - and completed six clearances and two interceptions.

Bartley didn't even have to attempt a tackle his reading of the game was so good.

It was bound to be a tough match for West Brom's defence as for the first time this season, Semi Ajayi was not partnering Bartley at centre-back as he had been pushed into the midfield.

That meant Ahmed Hegazi started a Baggies fixture for the first time since May and while the Egyptian was not exactly at his best, Bartley - thankfully - was.

Here is a selection of tweets by West Brom fans who were delighted with the 28-year-old's performance on Saturday:
