Some West Brom fans react to Gareth Barry display in 2-1 win v Sheffield Wednesday

The former Aston Villa and Everton midfielder completed 93 per cent of his passes, won one tackle and one aerial duel [WhoScored] has he helped the Baggies earn a last-gasp victory.

It was just the display that was expected of someone as experienced as Barry as the veteran midfielder’s composure and leadership shone through at the climax of what was a rather tense match.

West Brom fans on Twitter were impressed by what they saw from Barry and here is a selection of their tweets:

In other West Brom news, Nigel Quashie has offered his thoughts on Albion’s win against the Owls this weekend and hinted at a possible future issue for Bilic.
