Matheus Pereira was once again in sensational form for West Brom on Wednesday night as the Baggies won 4-1 against Bristol City.

The 23-year-old scored an exquisite free-kick in the first half to put Albion two goals ahead and ran the show in the attack to help see Slaven Bilic's side return to the top of the Championship table.

Hal Robson-Kanu won Sky Sports' man of the match award but there is no doubt that Pereira would have been a worthy winner as well.

According to stats by WhoScored, the Brazilian completed two dribbles, made one key pass and scored with his only shot at goal.

Bristol City's defence had a torrid time trying to deal with the on-loan attacker and Albion fans could not praise him highly enough on Twitter during the game.

One even went so far to claim that Pereira is the best player he's ever seen in the famous blue and white stripes of the Baggies.

While most supporters would argue that, it is fair to say that Pereira is definitely one of the most in-form players in the Championship at the moment.

Here is a selection of some West Brom fans who were blown away by Pereira's latest performance at The Hawthorns:
