James Morrison makes Championship predicition for West Brom

Winning is becoming a habit for West Brom and Slaven Bilic.

The 1-0 against Preston made it five-in-a-row and West Brom are two points clear at the top of the table.

The other thing that’s becoming a habit is the starting XI.

With no injury worries ahead of the game we don’t see any reason why Bilic would change things up for the game against Swansea.

With a bouyant dressing room and players and manager seemingly in perfect harmony, things are looking good for promotion.

That’s the view of former West Brom player, turned coach, James Morrison, who has tipped his side for promotion.

Talking in the Express & Star, Morrison said, “The style of football we are playing is great and everything is going to plan at the minute. There is a good feel about the place, the players are playing well and scoring lots of goals.

“It’s just a case of keeping going. I don’t want to jinx it, but I can’t see anyone pipping us at the minute.”

We can back that view up with cold, hard stats too.

The boys at smarterscout have released their prediction for the end of the Championship, and it sees West Brom go up, albeit in second place.

They have Leeds going up as champions, but if we finish second, we won’t care about that.

Also, football isn’t run by algorithms. Leeds have been producing some great stats without being able to reproduce them in results.

We know where we’d rather be at the moment and it’s in West Brom’s spot.
