– Danny is a lifelong Baggies fan and went through the mill at the tail-end of last season when it looked like Brentford were going to pip us to the top-two. Promotion was hard-won over the course of a brilliant season and this is definitely not the time to dip back into the Championship. January could be key.
– A man that needs no introduction to West Brom fans. Former West Brom and England striker Kevin Phillips still has his finger on the pulse at The Hawthorns and brings you the latest insight and news on the Baggies each and every day. Phillips was the Premier League’s top scorer in ’99/2000 with 30 goals – good enough for the European Golden Shoe, and he’s still the only English striker to win the award.
Contributor: Billy Wilson – Billy is perhaps the one man who’s totally convinced that West Brom will be safe this season, even with the current owners in charge and Big Sam at the wheel. “There are three or four teams at the very least that are worse than West Brom and they’ll be found out over the course of the season.” Damn, we really hope he’s right.
Contributor: Rob Jarvis – Rob’s torn. He once admitted to being a Sam Allardyce fan and still thinks that he’s not as big a dinosaur as people make out. However, that was before he arrived at West Brom. Now, he’s trying to backtrack quietly and we suspect that more results like the one against Villa could see him abandon Big Sam entirely.
