West Brom hit stalemate in new contract talks, Premier League side circling

Everything is going perfectly for West Brom on the pitch, with the latest win – a 5-1 thumping of Swansea the Baggies sixth in a row.

However, there’s one issue off the pitch that isn’t going away and seems to be getting away from West Brom.

According to, Birmingham Live the club has reached a stalemate in talks with Nathan Ferguson, with a new offer on the table for him.

He’s free to agree a pre-contract deal with overseas clubs in January and can leave on a free at the end of the season.

According to the Sun, Tottenham haven’t given up on signing the right-back. They sent their top scout Brian Carey to watch him against Preston and Jose Mourinho is looking to give young players a chance in his new-look team.

Crystal Palace are also said to be interested in Ferguson.

He’d be a real loss. The player who started off at centre-back has now played in both full-back positions for West Brom this season, and has played the full 90 minutes in the last three wins.
