Report: Aston Villa in pursuit of West Brom 18-year-old

Aston Villa and Bournemouth are in pursuit of West Brom teenager Rayhaan Tulloch, according to a report by the Daily Mail.

The newspaper claims that Bournemouth are expected to have a scout watch Tulloch, 18, in action for Albion’s Under-23s on Monday night in their clash against Fulham.

It is understood that amid the interest from the Premier League, West Brom want to open talks over getting Tulloch tied down to a new contract as the attacker is regarded as one of the best young talents at The Hawthorns.

Tulloch has already made two appearances in West Brom’s senior side when he featured in both FA Cup fixtures against Brighton last season.

He is yet to break into the first-team under Slaven Bilic’s leadership and the Daily Mail has eluded to the fact that could be an issue for the youngster.

Tulloch is a versatile young player who can play on either wing or as a centre-forward but is yet to catch the eye of Bilic, who has only used a select number of academy graduates in his side.

Although it may seem as though Tulloch is struggling to make the breakthrough at the moment, Grady Diangana’s injury in the win at Birmingham on Saturday could see the England youth international get an opportunity to impress.

In other West Brom news, AC Milan have joined the hunt for this Albion player.
