West Brom hold talks with agent of Turkey international – report
West Brom have held talks with the agent of Celta Vigo attacker Emre Mor as they aim to sign the Turkey international this month, according to El Desmarque.
The Spanish news outlet claims that the 22-year-old’s loan spell at Galatasaray is due to terminated this month with the view to him finding a new club before the transfer window closes.
It is understood that Mor is no longer training with Galatasaray and is hoping to revive his career elsewhere after a disappointing first half of the season, having only started three league games for the Istanbul giants.
Mor is naturally a right-sided winger but he has shown that he can also play on the left-hand side of the attack or as a centre-forward.
West Brom need to have their options open with it comes to wingers this month as there is the real threat that West Ham could recall Grady Diangana from his loan spell at The Hawthorns.
It remains to be seen whether Mor is being eyed up as a possible replacement for Diangana should Slaven Bilic lose the England Under-21 international, but it does seem logical.
Mor has not had a good season at Galatasaray but he is still a decent young player who has a point to prove after a couple of disappointing spells at Borussia Dortmund and Celta Vigo.
Maybe a move to the Championship will see him hit the heights that were expected of him a few years back.
