‘Wow’, ‘What dreams are made of’ – Some West Brom fans react to update on FA Cup tie v West Ham

It’s a miracle – West Brom will play at 3pm on a Saturday when they take on West Ham in the fourth round of the FA Cup later this month.

Since suffering relegation to the Championship, Albion fans have been fed up with the number of times they have seen their fixtures changes for the sake of games being played live on Sky Sports.

And when West Brom were drawn to play West Ham in the next round of the cup, many expected that either BBC or BT Sport would pick up the game.

It’s the Slaven Bilic derby. The Julian Dicks derby. The Grady Diangana derby. The Morgan Amalfitano derby or whatever you want to call it.

It would have made sense for the game to be broadcasted considering it is Bilic’s return to the London Stadium.

However that is not going to be the case with the Baggies confirming on Thursday that the game is not going to be shown on live television and their clash at West Ham will kick off at 3pm on Saturday January 25.

Understandably, West Brom fans on Twitter are thrilled.
