Report: West Brom ready to offer up to £6m for jet-heeled attacker

West Brom are stepping up their interest in Dinamo Zagreb attacker Mislav Orsic amid fears that West Ham could recall Grady Diangana, according to Sportske Novosti.

The Croatian news outlet claims that West Brom are ready to offer up to £6million for the 27-year-old this month but Dinamo value their in-form winger at £9million.

It is understood that although there is a £3million gap between valuations at the moment, it is not impossible that an agreement can be reached.

West Brom manager Slaven Bilic is said to be playing an important role in trying to sign Croatia international Orsic, who Sportske Novosti claim is keen on moving to England to play for the Championship leaders.

Albion fans have shown on Twitter that they are also eager to see him head to The Hawthorns this month – which is understandable given his goalscoring record this season.

Orsic, who is known for his rapid pace, has scored 19 goals and supplied five goals in 26 appearances across all competitions for Dinamo this term.

He scored a hat-trick against Serie A high-flyers Atalanta in the Champions League group stages and also netted against Shakhtar Donestk.

Orsic is a bit of a journeyman who has spent a lot of his career playing in China and South Korea.
