Two changes in West Brom confirmed starting XI v Stoke
West Brom have confirmed that Slaven Bilic has made two changes to his starting line-up ahead of the Championship showdown with Stoke on Monday night.
Albion welcome the Michael O’Neill’s side to The Hawthorns in search of a fourth consecutive victory against the relegation-threatened Potters that would take them four points clear at the top of the table.
Ahead of the game, the Baggies announced via their official Twitter account that Ahmed Hegazi and Grady Diangana have both returned to the starting line-up with Semi Ajayi and Kenneth Zohore dropping out.
West Brom have not won in any of their last five league games and some fans on social media have been labelling their clash against Stoke as a must-win fixture after Leeds and Brentford both dropped points on Saturday.
While dubbing the game a “must-win” could be a tad dramatic, it is certainly a game that Albion should win.
Stoke have been inconsistent as of late but are still just one point clear of the bottom three while West Brom are clearly a cut above most sides in the whole of the Championship.
However we have seen far too many times this season that beating teams down the bottom end of the table is not as straightforward as Bilic would hope.
Let’s hope that trend is bucked against Stoke.
In other West Brom news, O’Neill has predicted how Albion fans will react to James McClean’s return to The Hawthorns.
