West Brom have made contact with the representatives of Dinamo Zagreb attacker Mislav Orsic as Slaven Bilic aims to make three new signings before the January window closes, according to the Express & Star.

The Baggies have failed to win in their last six Championship matches and Monday night's toothless display in the 1-0 defeat to Stoke appears to have led to Bilic ramping up his search for new additions.

Orsic, 27, is understood to have emerged as a primary target after the Albion manager's shortlist was whittled down to three names.

The Express & Star reports that Dinamo want £9million for their in-form attacker and a bid from West Brom is imminent.

Orsic could be just the player that West Brom need to revive their league form after Grady Diangana was hit with yet another injury blow and a three-match ban is on the cards for Matheus Pereira.

Albion lack strength in depth in their attacking options so as soon as one of the starters are not available, there is cause for concern.

Orsic has scored 19 goals in 26 appearances across all competitions for Dinamo this season and could provide the cutting edge that the Baggies need to start slicing open defences as they did earlier in the campaign.
