Report: Rangers open talks with West Brom teenager whose contract expires in June

Rangers have opened talks with West Brom attacker Rayhaan Tulloch as they aim to take advantage of his contract situation at The Hawthorns, according to Football Insider.

Tulloch, 19, is one of the most promising players in the Baggies’ Under-23s squad and fans have recently been waxing lyrical about him on Twitter for his performances.

However Tulloch’s contract expires at the end of the season and as it stands, clubs from outside England are able to enter direct talks with him about a potential pre-contract deal.

Football Insider reports that Rangers have opened talks with the teenager’s representatives and that he is still attracting attention from Marseille and RB Leipzig.

West Brom need to sort out a new contract for Tulloch as soon as possible.

The 19-year-old attacker has been in great form for the Under-23s this season, scoring five goals in 11 Premier League 2 appearances.

He has also started to break into Slaven Bilic’s matchday plans with him recently coming off the bench in the latter stages of the 1-0 win against Charlton in the FA Cup.

Tulloch could be persuaded to stay if he sees himself getting more first-team opportunities at West Brom so Bilic could always include him in the squad that travels to West Ham on Saturday.

Matheus Pereira’s suspension and Grady Diangana’s injury could also open up a spot for Tulloch in Bilic’s senior squad.
