Jeff Stelling and Soccer Saturday pundits predict West Brom clash v Cardiff

West Brom will look to end a six-match winless run in the Championship on Tuesday night when they travel to South Wales to take on Cardiff City.

Although Slaven Bilic has not seen his side win a league game since December 14, the Baggies remain top of the Championship and four points clear of third-placed Fulham.

Cardiff have also been struggling as of late with the Welsh side winning just one of their last eight league games.

Ahead of Albion’s clash against the Bluebirds on Tuesday, Jeff Stelling and the Soccer Saturday pundits have been predicting the scoreline of the fixture.

Stelling and Charlie Nicholas have both predicted the game to end as a 1-1 draw but Phil Thompson and Matt Le Tissier have backed the Baggies to earn all three points at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Le Tissier, speaking on the Super 6 website, has explained why he has predicted West Brom will win.

“West Brom have not won in six, yet they find themselves at the top of the table. Cardiff is not an easy place to go, but if West Brom are well-organised and well-drilled, I think they will pick up a much-needed victory,” the Southampton legend said.

Bilic’s men are bound to be boosted by their 1-0 win away against West Ham in the FA Cup on Saturday but they are still going to be without Grady Diangana and Matheus Pereira, who are injured and suspended respectively.

Kyle Edwards and Filip Krovinovic could start in the Baggies attack instead of those two but either way, we are not going to see a full-strength Albion side in Wales on Tuesday night.
