West Brom fans rejoiced on Sunday as their side overcame a tough trip to Millwall to pick up three points in the 2-0 victory.
The Den is usually one of the toughest grounds to visit in the country, but the Baggies made it look like a stroll in the park despite the dreadful conditions in storm Ciara.
Filip Krovinovic opened the scoring with a superb curling effort into the bottom from the edge of the box, and the points were secured by a Dara O’Shea header.
The Croatian hasn’t exactly set the Championship alight since arriving on loan from Benfica in the summer, but Sunday was big proof that he can become a superstar in the next couple of months.
The 24-year-old had four shots on goal, as well as completing four key passes against the Lions – his most by some distance in each department in the entire season [WhoScored].
Many Baggies fans reacted to the performance by Krovinovic on Sunday, with some even suggesting that the playmaker’s move should be made into a permanent one as soon as possible.
