David Prutton predicts West Brom clash v Nottingham Forest

West Brom welcome Nottingham Forest to The Hawthorns on Saturday as they bid to win a fourth match in a row and continue to strengthen their grip on top spot in the Championship.

Albion came from behind to earn their first win away at Reading since 1995 on Wednesday night with Matheus Pereira and Kyle Bartley both getting themselves on the scoresheet.

Forest are set to provide a different test for Slaven Bilic’s in-form side this weekend as they are one of West Brom’s rivals in the bid for promotion, with the East Midlands club currently sitting in fifth place, two points shy of second-placed Leeds.

Forest have won two and lost two of their last four matches and perhaps based on West Brom’s current winning streak, Sky Sports pundit David Prutton has backed the Baggies to earn all three points this weekend at The Hawthorns.

“I think it will be a tough ask for Lamouchi’s side. It will be a great test of their automatic promotion credentials but I just see West Brom being strong enough. They showed great character to come back from 1-0 down against Reading [Wednesday] night,” Prutton told Love Sport Radio.

“So Saturday lunchtime at The Hawthorns, a tough test for Forest but I just see West Brom getting through it and winning 2-1.”

West Brom’s form has been revived since January, with Bilic’s winter additions of Kamil Grosicki and Callum Robinson appearing to have an impact on results.

Although neither of them have got a goal yet, Grosicki assisted a goal for Dara O’Shea at Millwall and Robinson forced an own goal by Luton earlier this month.

Matheus Pereira has rediscovered his form too while Filip Krovinovic is finally putting in performances to prove why Bilic was right to sign his fellow Croatian in the summer.

Everything is clicking in place for Albion at the moment and Forest are bound to be fearful of that this weekend.
