Romaine Sawyers' form is continuing to frustrate West Brom supporters after he failed to impress in the 2-2 draw against Nottingham Forest on Saturday.

Our panel of West Brom Super Fans were critical of the 28-year-old's performance against Reading on Wednesday night and it seems as though fans on social media have not been too keen on the midfielder as of late either.

West Brom were not at their best at The Hawthorns when Forest visited this weekend, but it was still a strong performance by Slaven Bilic's men and they definitely deserved to win.

Sawyers struggled to have much of an influence though, with stats by WhoScored showing that he completed just 36 passes in the entire 90 minutes.

The former Brentford midfielder has averaged 65 passes per match for West Brom this season, so his numbers were dramatically down on Saturday.

One-third of Sawyers' passes against Nottingham Forest went backwards, adding to the frustrating of West Brom supporters online.

Here is a selection of their tweets:

This next fan suggests Sawyers needs a rest but Bilic has named an unchanged starting line-up for the last three matches, with Albion picking up seven points in the process.

Who would replace Sawyers too? Albion do not really have any players in his position who are as good as him.

We need to trust that, soon enough, his form will improve.
