Stuart Broad suggests Keith Stroud is West Brom fan after Nottm Forest draw
England cricket star Stuart Broad has suggested that referee Keith Stroud is a West Brom supporter after Nottingham Forest’s 2-2 draw at The Hawthorns on Saturday.
Forest fans have been in absolute meltdown on Twitter after watching their side struggle in the Black Country this weekend.
West Brom were by far the better team from start to finish with the away side only managing their first shot on goal when Matty Cash scored a stoppage-time equaliser.
It was another good display by Slaven Bilic’s side despite them not winning but all Fores fans, like Broad, have been able to do since is focus on the refereeing display.
“Is this Referee a WBA fan? Never seen anything quite like it,” the England bowler said via his personal Twitter account.
Broad is definitely viewing Stroud’s performance through his red-tinted specs.
Although there were moments when Forest fans have every right to feel aggrieved by the referee’s decisions, it’s not as if West Brom did not get the rub of the green either.
Callum Robinson’s injury-time goal should have stood when it was ruled out for offside and the referee only brandished yellow cards for two of Forest’s outfield players despite their constant efforts to rough up Albion’s stars.
Matheus Pereira was lucky to have not gone off injured early on and there was also a challenge on Filip Krovinovic that was very nasty.
In other West Brom news, fans raved about this player’s display against Forest.
