West Brom set to turn loan deal into permanent addition next month – report
On-loan attacker Matheus Pereira is set to officially become a West Brom player next month, according to the Telegraph.
The newspaper claims that once Pereira, 23, passes 30 appearances of 45 minutes or longer for the Baggies, then an £8.25million clause in his deal will be triggered to make his switch to The Hawthorns from Sporting CP permanent.
It means that if Pereira does not miss any of Albion’s upcoming matches, he will become a permanent addition at the club after local rivals Birmingham City play at The Hawthorns on March 14.

Pereira has been a magnificent signing for West Brom with him scoring six goals and supplying 16 assists in his 30 appearances across all competitions.
Even in matches where he has not had a direct influence on goals, he’s still been the player to pull the strings for the Baggies and play a huge role in them being top of the Championship table right now.
If Pereira was just a loan signing who would go back to Sporting CP in the summer then it would have still been an amazing deal – but the fact that he is set to sign permanently for such a bargain fee makes it an absolute masterstroke by Slaven Bilic and Luke Dowling.
