Jeff Stelling predicts West Brom clash v Bristol City
Jeff Stelling has tipped West Brom to return to winning ways this weekend when they face promotion contenders Bristol City at Ashton Gate.
Albion saw their three-match winning streak come to an end last week when they drew 2-2 against Nottingham Forest at The Hawthorns while the Robins suffered a 1-0 defeat to Leeds.
Sky Sports host Stelling was not impressed by Lee Johnson’s side last week and has predicted that the Baggies will win 3-1 at Ashton Gate on Saturday.
“West Brom will have been disappointed with the result against Nottingham Forest, but Bristol City were poor at Leeds and could have been hit for five or six. Slaven Bilic will see his side bounce back at Ashton Gate,” said Stelling on the Super 6 website.
West Brom have been in great form lately and although they dropped points against Forest, it was still a promising performance and Slaven Bilic was unfortunate to see his side have a late goal disallowed for offside.
Albion also have a fairly decent record against Bristol City.
They have won three of their last four meetings with the Robins, who have lost two of their last three Championship fixtures.
It is bound to be an interesting game at Ashton Gate, especially as both sides will be aiming to bounce back after disappointing results against fellow promotion rivals.
