‘I love his energy’ – Kieran Gibbs raves about West Brom 22-year-old

Left-back Kieran Gibbs has named young attacker Kyle Edwards as his funniest team-mate at West Brom.

Edwards, 22, showed off his sense of humour in a video clip on Albion’s official Twitter account last month when he did the semi-final draw for the WBA 6-a-side Championship.

Edwards has always seem to play with a smile on his face and is clearly well-liked by his West Brom team-mates.

When asked to name the funniest member of the Baggies squad, Gibbs went straight for the 22-year-old ace.

“I’d have to say Kyle Edwards. He’s always having a laugh with someone and I love his energy,” Gibbs told West Brom’s official website.

As seen in the above image, Edwards is clearly a popular member of the squad.

Unless the Baggies choose to trigger a clause to extend Edwards’ contract by an extra 12 months, there is a chance that the winger could leave The Hawthorns this summer.

As it stands, his deal expires on June 30 but the club does have the right to extend that if they wish.

Edwards hasn’t lit up the Championship this season but he’s done enough to suggest he’s a good option in Slaven Bilic’s attack.

In other West Brom news, Nathan Ferguson could leave before the season ends.
