‘Sell him’ – West Brom Super Fans react as 23y/o is linked with permanent exit
This is part of a regular series from our panel of West Brom Super Fans. Each week, our Super Fans will deliver their verdicts on the biggest talking points and news stories around The Hawthorns.

Although he cost the club £15million in 2017, Oliver Burke has become somewhat of a forgotten player at West Brom.
The 23-year-old spent the second half of last season failing to impress on loan at Celtic before he was shipped out on another loan deal in the summer as he joined La Liga club Alaves on a season-long basis.
In Spain, Burke hasn’t done much of note with the Scotland international earning 22 appearances in all competitions – only seven of which being starts – and scoring one goal, which came against Eibar in February.
Despite his spell in La Liga being so far underwhelming, Spanish newspaper AS reported earlier this month that Alaves would be willing to sign Burke on a permanent basis once his loan spell comes to an end.
We asked our panel of dedicated West Brom Super Fans for their thoughts on Burke’s future and unsurprisingly, they’re all suggesting the same thing:

As expected, the Super Fans would be happy to see the back of Burke with the £15million flop offering next to nothing to West Brom in his time at the club.
Burke hasn’t even offered any indication he’s worth keeping while out on loan at Celtic and Alaves.
Those loan spells could have been the making of the Scotland international after a tough year-and-a-half at The Hawthorns but it wasn’t to be.
It will be amazing if the Baggies recoup anywhere near what they paid for the ex-RB Leizipg forward.
In other West Brom news, Ally Robertson is thrilled by the EFL’s most recent update.
