‘I love it’ – Kyle Edwards says which West Brom team-mate annoys him most
Kyle Edwards has jokingly admitted that Nathan Ferguson is the player at West Brom who gets on his nerves the most.
Edwards, 22, and Ferguson, 19, are both products of the Baggies’ academy but the future is anything but certain for either of them at the moment.
Ferguson almost joined Crystal Palace in January before failing a medical but is widely expected to still leave The Hawthorns in the summer when his contract expires.
Edwards’ contract also expires at the end of June and while West Brom do have the option to extend it by a further year, they are yet to do so with us now in May.
It seems likely that Edwards will stay at Ferguson won’t, which means that there’ll be one less player getting on the attacker’s nerves, based on his recent comments.
“Probably Nathan – he is similar to me. He’s always dancing and making jokes and I love it but maybe when it’s time to chill he will still be dancing around! It’s all love Nath, promise,” Edwards told Albion’s official website.
Although Ferguson isn’t one of the most popular players among West Brom fans at the moment due to his refusal to sign a new contract, he does seem to be someone who the players get along with.
Edwards is one of the brightest characters in the dressing room and everyone seems to get a long with him and if Ferguson is the same, then the defender’s exit in the summer is bound to have an impact.
In other West Brom news, Kevin Phillips says this 29-year-old still has a future at Albion despite by dropped.
