Report: West Brom in pursuit of QPR winger after compiling two transfer lists

West Brom are interested in QPR winger Bright Osayi-Samuel as they aim to strengthen the squad ahead of next season, according to the Express & Star.

As it stands, the Baggies do not know which league they will be playing in next season but it is understood that Slaven Bilic and Luke Dowling have compiled two lists of transfer targets; one for the Premier League and one for the Championship.

While it is not known which list Osayi-Samuel features on, journalist Joseph Masi claims it is likely ther Nigerian features on both.

He has scored six goals and supplied eight assists in 32 appearances across all competitions for QPR this season, proving he is more than capable of playing in the Championship.

Osayi-Samuel is also relatively young having turned 22-years-old in December and has the ability to play both on the left and right-wing.

He has played primarily on the right-hand side this season for the Rs but with Grady Diangana and Callum Robinson’s loan spells due to expire in the summer, Bilic and Dowling could be on the look-out for reinforcements on the left.

It remains to be seen whether or not Osayi-Samuel could make the step up to the Premier League if West Brom get there but based on Dowling’s recruitment drive last summer, there is a lot of trust in the club’s technical director.
