Report details update on Grady Diangana future with Slaven Bilic keen to strike WBA deal

West Brom manager Slaven Bilic would love to sign Grady Diangana on a permanent basis from West Ham but the Baggies boss is set for disappointment.

According to reliable West Ham website Claret & Hugh, the Hammers have no intention of selling the 22-year-old attacker, even if they are relegated to the Championship and Albion win promotion to the Premier League.

It is understood that if West Ham are relegated then David Moyes will hand Diangana a major role in his side, with the London club not having any intention of striking a deal with the Championship high-flyers.

From a West Brom point of view, it is understood that the Baggies themselves deem it too hard to sign Diangana due to the “cash crisis” that has hit the game due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Diangana has scored five goals and supplied six assists in his 21 league appearances for West Brom this season but has barely featured since mid-December due to a number of injury issues.

However if the campaign gets back up and running then Diangana is expected to be fit to play and may still have a major role in helping the Baggies return to the Premier League.

Once his loan spell is over, Diangana is going to return to the London Stadium a far better player than the one that headed to the West Midlands last summer.

It will be great to see him shine in the Premier League once that happens but it will be hard to see that happen with him wearing claret and blue, rather than the famous blue and white stripes of West Bromwich Albion.

In other West Brom news, Lee Hendrie has tipped this Baggies star to do well in the Premier League if he bases his game on a Wolves player.
