‘No thanks’, ‘Don’t want him’ – Many West Brom fans react to Sky Sports transfer story

West Brom fans are not happy with a report claiming that the Baggies are likely to re-ignite their interest in Charlton forward Lyle Taylor at the end of the season.

Sky Sports has reported that West Brom, Sheffield Wednesday, Swansea and Rangers were all keen on signing the 30-year-old striker in January and could pursue him again once the next transfer window opens.

Although Charlton have struggled in their first season back in the Championship, Taylor has been one of the bright lights at The Valley with 11 goals in 22 league appearances.

However it seems that trouble is brewing with Taylor as Addicks boss Lee Bowyer has revealed to talkSPORT that the centre-forward is going to refuse to play past the end of June, when his contract expires.

Taylor is worried about suffering an injury in any matches that take place after the end of June as it may ruin his shot at joining a bigger club.

With Premier League hopefuls West Brom and Scottish Premiership giants Rangers interested, you can see his point as at the age of 30, this could be his final chance to secure a big move in his career.

But some Albion fans are not keen on seeing the ex-AFC Wimbledon player head their way due to his refusal to play at Charlton.
