West Brom star shares clip of stunner he scored at Holte End in warm-up game v Aston Villa

West Brom were held to a 2-2 draw by Aston Villa in a warm-up game at Villa Park on Saturday as the Baggies ramp up their preparations for the season restarting.

Filip Krovnovic and Kamil Grosicki were both on the scoresheet for the Baggies to put them ahead on two occasions but Keinan Davis and Jack Grealish managed to equalise each time for the relegation-threatened Premier League club.

Krovinovic, 24, has proven popular among West Brom fans during his loan spell at The Hawthorns and scoring a stunner from outside the penalty area – in front of the Holte End – is only going to endear himself more to The Hawthorns faithful.

The Croatian playmaker did exactly that on Saturday and thankfully, he has shared a clip of his goal on his personal Instagram account, as posted by the Baggies Bible on Twitter, for fans to see.

Krovinovic had a tough start to life as a West Brom player as he struggled to get into Slaven Bilic’s starting line-up for most of the first half of the campaign.

But since the turn of the year, he is one of the first names on the teamsheet with him bossing possession in the middle of the park, creating opportunities and scoring goals.

His goal against Villa shows that he is chomping at the bit to return to the Championship promotion race and hopefully, the messy defending by Villa in the build up to the goal says a lot about their fate too once the season starts up again.
