Some West Brom fans thrilled by ‘Superb’ update on attacker future: ‘This would be huge’, ‘Epic’
West Brom fans are delighted by the news that Rayhaan Tulloch is set to sign a new long-term contract with the club after months of speculation about his future.
According to The Athletic, Rangers and Aston Villa had pursued deals to sign Tulloch, 19, at the end of the season when his contract at The Hawthorns was due to expire.
However, Albion have reportedly had a breakthrough in discussions with the teenage attacker and Steve Madeley reports that “a deal is now virtually completed”.
Tulloch is one of the most highly-rated young players at West Brom and Slaven Bilic might plan on using him in the final nine matches of the Championship season once the second-tier resumes on June 20.
We would all love to see more of the youngster, especially as he scored nine goals and supplied four assists in 14 Premier League 2 appearances for the Under-23s this season.
Albion fans on Twitter are clearly delighted with the news based on how much potential he has shown while playing for the youth sides.
