Report details results of latest round of coronavirus testing at West Brom

West Brom players and staff once again tested negatively for coronavirus after the latest round of results were revealed by the EFL on Wednesday, according to the Birmingham Mail.

In a statement on their official website, the EFL confirmed that six individuals tested positive from four Championship clubs after a further 1,192 tests were carried out between Sunday and Tuesday.

One of the individuals is Stoke City manager Michael O’Neill, who was on his way to Manchester for his side’s warm-up match against Man United before being forced to turn back after receiving news of his positive test.

We wish O’Neill well and everyone else who has tested positive for the illness and for West Brom, it is great that those involved with the club have been given the all-clear.

Albion are due to play Man United on Friday after the Premier League club’s plans to face Stoke were scrapped due to O’Neill’s positive test.

Cases in the Premier League have been fairly low so it seems that the Baggies versus United should go ahead without any hitches.

Although the result against United will mean nothing, it will be interesting to see how Albion would get on after they drew 2-2 with Aston Villa on Saturday.

We’ve had some good games against Man United over the years and our last visit to Old Trafford resulted in a win for Darren Moore’s side.

It would be a massive confidence boost for Slaven Bilic’s men to get a positive result when they face the Champions League-hunting side.

In other West Brom news, Albion are set to play two matches against Premier League opposition this week.
