‘Sign him up’ – Some West Brom fans react to Krovinovic Instagram post, Pereira also responds

West Brom fans have been urging the club to sign Filip Krovinovic on a permanent basis after the Croatian midfielder uploaded a new post on Instagram.

Krovinovic, 24, joined the Baggies on a season-long loan from Benfica in the summer and although he struggled to make an impact straight away, he’s been one of Slaven Bilic’s best players in 2020.

The midfield playmaker is now itching for the football season to resume next week and he posted on his personal Instagram page on Thursday to show how much he’s looking forward to that game against Birmingham on June 20.

He said: “When they ask me if I’m ready for Championship that resumes in 9 days… Hell yeah!”

West Brom’s official Twitter account relayed Krovinovic’s Instagram post and that led to a number of fans replying that they would love to see the club sign the 24-year-old permanently.

It’s something we’d love to see happen too.

Krovinovic’s ability with the ball at the feet is tremendous and we saw with his goal against Aston Villa on Saturday that he has the capability to grab the game by the scruff of it’s neck and come up with a big moment.

It remains to be seen how much Benfica would want for Krovinovic because the Baggies don’t have an option to sign him included in the loan deal but as Albion are likely to be a Premier League club, they should be able to afford him.

That’s what these fans are hoping for anyway with Krovinovic continuing to impress.

Here is a selection of their tweets:

Matheus Pereira also responded to Krovinovic’s Instagram post in Portuguese, writing in the comments: “You are always ready for everything, my brother.”

It’s been a tough few months but we always have time for the bromance between Matheus Pereira and Krovinovic.

In other West Brom news, Albion are set to feature on pay-to-view television on Friday.
