‘Boing boing’, ‘A bit like Lukaku’ – Many West Brom fans delighted by ‘Fantastic’ player update
It’s the news that West Brom fans have been waiting to hear confirmed for some time now – West Ham have confirmed that Grady Diangana’s loan deal has been extended.
In a statement on their official website on Thursday, the Hammers announced that Diangana, 22, will now remain at The Hawthorns until the Baggies have played their final nine Championship fixtures.
West Brom resume their season next Saturday with a home clash against Birmingham City and after recovering from a hamstring injury during the lockdown, Diangana is now primed to play a role in Slaven Bilic’s squad.

Diangana has barely played for Albion since a number of injury issues he suffered in December.
He’s scored five goals and supplied six assists in 21 Championship appearances for the Baggies and up until February, Bilic’s men failed to win all seven of the games the England Under-21 international missed.
Callum Robinson’s arrival on loan from Sheffield United helped boost West Brom’s form while Diangana was injured but now Bilic has both of the wingers available for him to pick for the rest of the season, as long as they don’t get injured or suspended.
West Brom fans are understandably delighted with West Ham’s update on Diangana, with one urging fans to milk every moment the winger is still at The Hawthorns as they did when Romelu Lukaku was on loan back in 2012/13.
Here is a selection of their tweets:
It is going to be tough for Bilic to decide who starts on the left-wing but we would not be shocked to see him alternate between Robinson and Diangana with the fixture congestion that’s going to occur over the coming weeks.
In other West Brom news, Filip Krovinovic has shared footage of his goal against Aston Villa.
