Journalist shares what he’s been told about broadcast of West Brom v Man United

West Brom will not have their warm-up matches against Manchester United anywhere due to a “media blackout”, according to Express & Star reporter Joseph Masi.

Albion will play two hour-long friendlies against United at Old Trafford today (Friday) but none of the two matches will be made available to view anywhere.

However newspaper journalist Masi has suggested that footage will leak out somehow, as it did at the weekend when the highlights of goals by Filip Krovinovic and Kamil Grosicki emerged from the 2-2 draw with Aston Villa.

Krovinovic and Grosicki shared clips of their goals on Instagram so it seems that the footage of games does eventually get made available for players.

Hopefully Albion will have some more goalscorers from the two games at Old Trafford so that players have highlights to once again share.

You would assume with players not being at their peak fitness and there being two hours of football, someone should score.

It would be great to see Matheus Pereira warm up his boots before the season restarts next week while a goal for one of the club’s three strikers will be a major boost to their confidence.
