‘Boing boing’ – Agbonlahor sends unexpected message to West Brom ace before clash v Birmingham
Aston Villa player Jack Grealish has wished West Brom loan star Callum Robinson the best ahead of Albion’s clash against Birmingham on Saturday.
Former Villa Park attacker Gabriel Agbonlahor has also admitted he’ll be supporting the Baggies this weekend, as they take on Villa’s Second City rivals at The Hawthorns.
It has been over three months since West Brom’s players were able to kick a ball in anger but finally, the Baggies are on the verge of being able to resume their bid to win promotion back to the Premier League.
And it seems Albion have some unlikely cheerleaders in Grealish and Agbonlahor, who commented on former Villa player Robinson’s latest Instagram post.
Grealish said: “Come on my son.”
Agbonlahor commented to say: “Good luck, three points please. Boing boing.”
Did you ever think you’d see Agbonlahor and Grealish supporting West Brom?
Albion versus Aston Villa is a big derby in itself but the hatred between Villa and Birmingham is so strong that it nullifies the rivalry between the Villans and the Baggies.
You can just imagine Agbonlahor sitting at home this weekend with a West Brom shirt on that has ‘Brunt 11’ on the back as he cheers Slaven Bilic’s men on to victory.
They might come to regret cheering for Albion.
The Black Country club could well be replacing Aston Villa in the Premier League next season.
In other West Brom news, it has been suggested this 29-year-old signed by Tony Pulis could leave in the next transfer window.
